The team member count that I would be collaborating with for this project was a small list of key members—each with his own and imperative component responsibility to build Intuit's first amazing product offering in the SaaS space. Let's take a look:
General Manager
Project Coordindator
UX Analyst
Researcher
Engineer
Front-End Developer
It is also important to note this was Intuit's first dive in the remote working space as the teammates were located in New York City, Texas, California and Virginia. We collaborated via team messaging, Zoom video calls and bi-monthly huddles typically in the New York City area.
Kicking off, I worked with the UX Researcher to request any existing metrics or data from customers in the past or current that could help steer towards a viable product that the market was already asking for. In addition, I collaborated with the team for new data, features and/or components we would like to consider for this pilot product for Intuit—and scale back if needed as an MVP.
Upon retrieving data for our efforts, this would apply to the project deliverables of a web site, web site app, Apple and Android apps (SDK: Apple iOS / Google Android), email marketing, printed marketing materials and social media assets. All of this would require an all-new branding, of course.

Starting in the spring, we had about one year ahead of us to build TurboTax Personal Pro, in time for the following year’s tax season.

Does the headcount for the team suffice?
Since our holistic efforts is to create an all-new SaaS experience, I did not have an existing platform to look upon for improvements. Instead, using our collected research, I took time to carefully articulate multiple wireframe pathways to ensure what we want the user to experience the entire product journey: extreme ease-of-use and pain point-free. Iterate as needed as we recieve user feedback for the most optimal experience.
My first dive was to produce rough sketches of the user journey (diagramed in the marquee above) and use simple colors and cues to help navigate the user across the entire product journey, which at this time, was not design-focused. As I reviewed my concepts with the team, I would then produce medium, and later higher-fidelity wireframes.
As we collaborated and reviewed our concepts of wireframes and designs—the team started to discuss creating official branding guidelines to ensure visual and storytelling consistency and brand recognition for TurboTax: Personal Pro, which would than waterfall back to Intuit’s other key product offerings.
Take a look at more of the branding guidance shown here: Intuit: Design, which showcases core design principles that has been consistent throughout Intuit and financial software products.

At the time, after countless team reviews, the team and I did not know we would be well on our way to producing over 250+ design concepts, each with slight variations. Before any design screens were to become gestalt of the the user journey, we ensured each design screen would be tested for positive or progressively favorable results.
While not all 250+ designs made it to the final rounds, of course, what we did learn was that each piece along the way was a stepping stone to where the product development was headed to: an optimal experience. Here's a look at just some of the final design deliverables:

As we prepared for the initial product launch, I was tasked to design some additional marketing assets. Such assets included deliverables such as printed booklets, folders, stickers, posters, to some retail standees and billboards.
In addition, we also used social media to help deliver our product to greater audiences since at the time, social media branding and advertising was booming.
